June 9, 2024, will be the last official day Betfred Sportsbook will accept purchase of any wagers. The Retail location will remain open Monday to Sunday, 12 noon to 8pm for redemption of any outstanding winnings tickets. Until June 30, 2024.

As of 8PM EST, June 30, 2024, Betfred Sportbook will be closing retail operations. Should you have a wager that has not settled yet or a winning wager that has not been redeemed, please follow the Mail in Redemption instructions found on the back of the betslip to claim your winnings.

Online App Account Holders:

Online Wagering will end as of July 14, 2024. Please initiate a withdrawal of your funds, by your preferred method from the app or website by July 31, 2024.

You may request a cash disbursement at the Retail location until 12 noon EST, June 30, 2024. If you do not initiate a withdrawal by this time, all balances will be issued by check to the address we have for you on file, within 30 days.

When will operations in Maryland cease?

Betfred will cease sports betting operations in Maryland as of June 30, 2024, at the Retail Sportsbook and on July 31, 2024, for Mobile.

Can I access my account until July 31, 2024?

Your account will still be accessible until July 31, 2024, through our mobile app. Please login and request a withdrawal to ensure the safe and secure return of your funds.

How do I withdraw the funds from my account?

Initiate a withdrawal as usual. Balances above $10 not withdrawn by July 31, 2024, will be issued by check within 30 days of ceased operations.

Should any check issued to a patron post Mobile Shutdown Date not be cashed within 6 months of issuance, the funds will be deemed abandoned. Betfred will remit the funds to the Controller of Maryland’s unclaimed property unit with all required documentation.

What happens to my active bonuses or offers?

All active offers and bonuses have expired or been settled per the associated terms and
conditions

When will I receive my tax forms?

Any tax forms required to be provided for a taxable win will be sent to the email address currently on file. Contact Betfred Player Experience for any specific questions about your account and activity.
